Our story
Three generations,
one chaati.
ਬੇਬੇ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਦ
“The taste of Bebe's hands”
In our home in Barnala, ghee was never something you bought from a shop.
It came from our own desi cows, and from Bebe — our grandmother — who has made it the bilona way for as long as any of us can remember.

Our desi cows at home
01
Our home and our cows
We keep desi cows at home in Barnala, Punjab. Their milk is the only thing that goes into Chaati ghee.

Churning in the clay chaati
02
Bebe's chaati
The milk is set into curd and churned in a clay chaati with a wooden madhani, until soft white makhan rises. Our mother learnt it standing beside Bebe. Now we help too.

Why we started sharing
For years our ghee went only to family and friends. Chaati is how we share it with families across India — made exactly the same way, in small batches.
Why we named it Chaati
Named after the pot it's churned in
A chaati is the round clay pot every Punjabi home once churned in. Most ghee brands say “bilona”; we wanted the name of the actual pot our ghee is churned in — a reminder that this is made by hand, at home, not in a factory.
